WENESY has wrapped up two productive days at NoVacancy 2026 in Sydney, meeting hotel professionals, accommodation operators, buyers and hospitality partners from across Australia.

Alongside product demonstrations, the exhibition gave our team the opportunity for in-depth conversations about hotel amenities and the practical demands of daily operations. Discussions covered bathroom presentation, fragrance, housekeeping efficiency, refill methods, dispenser security and ongoing supply.
More Than a Product Showcase
Visitors to the WENESY stand explored a range of hotel toiletries, dispenser systems and guest-room amenities. Refillable bottles, pouch refill systems and lockable dispensers prompted discussions about both their design and how they would work within different properties.
For hotel teams, selecting a bathroom amenity system involves more than choosing shampoo and body wash. Refill frequency, installation, storage, security and servicing all affect how well a system performs once it is in use.
A recurring question was how to reduce packaging while keeping room servicing straightforward and maintaining the presentation guests expect.
Direct Feedback from Hotel Teams
Conversations with hotel representatives and hospitality professionals gave us a clearer picture of how different properties manage bathroom amenities, and what purchasing and housekeeping teams look for when comparing systems.
Those priorities vary. Larger hotels and multi-property groups may focus on standardisation, servicing speed and stock management. Boutique and premium properties may place greater emphasis on fragrance, dispenser design and how naturally the amenities fit into the bathroom.
For WENESY, this feedback matters because the formulation is only one part of a hotel amenity system. The dispenser, bracket, refill format and replacement process also shape the experience for the people using and maintaining it.
Choosing the Right Refill System
Discussions during the exhibition moved beyond the reasons for reducing miniature toiletries to the details of choosing a suitable alternative. Hotel teams considered refill methods, replacement time, secure installation and compatibility with existing housekeeping routines, rather than comparing bottle size or appearance alone.
WENESY presented several approaches, including refillable bottles, whole-bottle replacement systems, pouch refills and bulk refill options. These different formats allow hotels and distributors to compare solutions against the needs of each property, rather than adopting a single approach for every project.
The feedback shared in Sydney will help inform our product development and the support we provide to hotel projects across Australia and New Zealand.
Continuing the Conversation
NoVacancy also provided an opportunity to reconnect with industry contacts and begin new discussions with hotels, hospitality businesses and potential partners.
Meeting in person makes a difference. Handling a dispenser, seeing how it opens and replacing a refill can answer questions that photographs and specifications leave open. It also gives hotel teams the chance to discuss how the system would fit their own servicing procedures.
Thank you to everyone who visited the WENESY stand and shared their experience, questions and ideas with our team.
We look forward to continuing these conversations and working with hotels and hospitality partners across Australia and New Zealand on amenity solutions that balance thoughtful design with practical daily use.
